Vance tweeted “JD IS brat,” but it’s clear he has no idea what it means.
In an attempt to battle claims that he is “weird,” JD Vance tweeted “JD IS brat” yesterday afternoon. However, it is clear that Vance has no idea what it means.
“He doesn’t understand the essence of Brat summer,” one staffer told our reporters. “I don’t think he even knows who Charli xcx is.”
Trying to give Brat energy, Vance’s Senate staffers revealed that Vance got his nails colored neon green and started wearing green eyeliner to floor votes, saying repeatedly “OMG I’m green like the TikTok edits.”
He is reportedly also answering every constituent call by yelling “slay Queen.”
But voters have doubts about Vance’s newfound identity.
“JD is not Brat,” one Ohio constituent of Vance said. “He thinks he just fell out of a coconut tree. But he exists in the context of all in which he lives and what came before him.”
“And the context of all in which he lives is that it’s honestly a bit odd how much he enjoys couches,” the constituent added. “Why does he look at them like that? It’s just weird.”
Several hours ago, Vance desperately attempted to maintain his new cool image, tweeting “I am one of the girliessss!”
But just minutes later, he abandoned his girlies when he repeated his calls for a nationwide abortion ban during a Senate floor speech.
“JD is NOT Brat and is NOT a girlie,” Charli xcx replied to Vance’s tweet. “He has never been, and will never be Brat, and he probably knows more about couches than women’s bodies.”
It’s safe to say, Brat summer ended too soon for JD Vance.
