We are proud present the Humor Times 34th Anniversary Issue!
The Humor Times 34th Anniversary Issue is out, get your copy today! With it, we are proud to continue in the proud tradition of the nearly 250 years of muckraking journalism that our nation has enjoyed — albeit, in our own, political satire style!

In a disgraceful time of capitulation to a wannabe dictator, some so-called “newspapers” — Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post, I’m looking at you — are being careful not to step on the Spray-Tan-in-Chief’s toes, carefully wording their articles, firing editorial cartoonists who refuse to muzzle themselves, and making sure to call the Gulf of Mexico by Donald Trump’s pet name.
(By the way, I wonder how much the so-called president is going to love “Gulf of America” when it becomes the source of the next hyper-destructive hurricane. As in a headline like, “Gulf of America hurricane hurls destruction upon red states!”)
We here at the Humor Times refuse to bow down to anyone, much less a psychopathic malignant narcissist who was barely elected by less than half the voting population due to an unavoidable worldwide economic downturn, yet pretends to have a “mandate” to denigrate our government; destroy extremely popular institutions like Social Security, Medicaid and the Post Office; appoint totally unqualified sycophants to the most important positions in government; let his racist billionaire benefactor loose to chainsaw his way through our institutions; weaken our security; and leave our nation vulnerable to longtime adversaries and murderous dictators, such as Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
We will continue to speak truth to power, via the venerated art of editorial cartooning and the essential practice of political satire. Our mission, though, is to entertain while muckraking — to, as our motto states, “Help you laugh, rather than cry, about the news.” Yes, the state of the union is in serious condition, thanks to these ignorant, self-aggrandizing marauders, but we need to keep our spirits up, and we at the Humor Times hope to help in that regard.
Ever since the rise of the internet, which most had hoped would help in educating the public, civil discourse has instead deteriorated. Most social media is now a cesspool of lies and disinformation. As a result, we have the most poorly-informed electorate since before the dawn of the printing press. Being as democracy depends on a well-informed electorate, it may well be doomed — unless we, as citizens, learn how to filter what we see online. But the rise of Artificial Intelligence is not helping, and may in fact, seal democracy’s fate.
It’s going to take a concerted effort by The People to preserve democracy — as has always been the case.
We hope to do our part. As a small publication in today’s media environment, it’s not easy — we need all the support we can get. We need business and wealthy supporters (advertising, grants, partnerships) and the support of you, the public.
The easiest and best thing you can do, dear reader, is to subscribe and give subscriptions to the Humor Times. You can also become a patron, with a monthly, annual or one-time donation, which you may do directly (our preference) or via Patreon here.
Finally, please help spread the word about the Humor Times: share our online content, show your copy of the publication to everyone you know, and/or volunteer to spread some copies around, via our “Send a Stack” offer, where we send you a free stack of the publication (just ask).
We thank you very much for your support.
