After Obama lost his government health insurance, he found he couldn’t afford Obamacare
WASHINGTON, DC — In an ironic turn of events, President Obama has begun selling his belongings in order to afford healthcare coverage on his very own Obamacare exchange.
The Obama family of four, their Portuguese Water Dog Bo, and their dependent Joe Biden were previously insured on a premium government plan, which included daily drone strikes and phone-tapping free of charge. However, when Barack left office, he lost his employer provided plan and was forced to purchase a private plan on the “Affordable” Care Act Exchange, where premiums have gone up 24% just this past year.
On the phone with insurance companies, Obama repeated the phrase “let me be clear” frequently and paused for applause, even though he did not receive any from the insurance agents. Many of the agents challenged his assertion that he was “as healthy as ever” due to his greying hair, and also questioned whether Joe Biden can still act as a dependent at 74 years of age.
Ultimately, the Obamas were forced to sell their White House memorabilia, shoes, dirty socks, and terabytes of US citizen cell phone records simply to afford a silver-level health insurance plan.
